Our client's brief for this project involved getting to know Henri Matisse, and more particularly his art style — and we have to say, we were not disappointed! A renowned French artist, Matisse is known for his use of colour and his original draughtsmanship. A contemporary of Picasso, he is considered one of the artists who defined the revolution in the visual arts in the opening decades of the twentieth century. These artworks are our tribute to this legendary artist. Take a look.

The New Art collaborated with Muskurate Chehre, a meetup group, to organise a walk for its members that ended with us painting a wall art together on the wall of an organic food cafe at IIT Delhi. Watch your food — the hungry crow can snatch it the moment you look away.

When several people start doing something with a shared goal in one place, the vibe of that place changes — think of places of worship or meditation rooms. No one can quite explain it, but the very air becomes steeped in the mood of the place, and most people feel it. IIT Delhi created a separate space for its students to come in and build the things they dreamed of, and named it the MakerSpace. They equipped it with the machinery to cater to the innovative drive of the students who use it. With everything set, The New Art took it upon itself to give the vibe of the place a good jump start. We painted two huge wall arts depicting the nature of the space — our humble contribution to inspiring the students who will create our future here.
