Welcoming

Delhi is indeed the melting pot of the culture of India. People from every region of the country come here to become a part of this behemoth of a city. Each small part adds a little of it's own zing and taste to this pot, ever renewing the flavor of this city. Here at Nehru Enclave, we seeked to welcome this crowd to this station and tried to show our appreciation for everyone that is a part of it by doing two lotus artwork and the and two artworks with Madhubani dancers and singers. The very detailed patchwork of different textile pieces picked from across the country shows how beautiful they become when they become one. The artwork in front of it displays how, if we peel the surface, Delhi is comprised of people from every region, religion, stature and style of India.
