Humanity has always been fascinated by the flight of birds, as our wild attempts to fly like them since the dawn of consciousness show. Perhaps the longing was more metaphorical than physical: flight symbolised the freedom to explore horizons untethered, to move to new pastures whenever you liked, and to simply leave a place you didn't like. We tried to capture that longing in these artworks. Have a look.
