"Thousands have lived without love, not one without water." — W.H. Auden. When we hear something again and again, it starts to feel ordinary and its impact fades. But some things are too important to be forgotten or taken for granted. We are running out of water, and it has become a problem impossible to ignore — just remember what happened in Chennai. Many people barely have access to enough water, and as a society we have run out of choices. Some say we have passed the point of no return. We hope that isn't true, and that we still have the will to come back strong and fix most of it. Nobody loves standing in a queue for drinking water.
